Text of the day: “I’m not here to engage in pleasantries, so allow me to spell out to you in language you can understand about what is going to happen here. If you do not leave this place by first light tomorrow, my men are instructed to set alight to this dwelling, which together with its contents will be burnt to the ground. Whatever those contents may be. It will be an act of God. To rid this place of the devilry and blasphemous abominations that have taken place in this stinking hovel.
